Before a large crowd of cheering supporters, Raj Goyle kicked off his campaign yesterday at Wichita State University.

"Wichitans deserve a strong, independent leader who will bring people together and fight for common sense solutions," Raj said. It's time for a new generation of leadership in the Legislature. That's why I'm running to represent the 87th District."

Community leader Jill Docking introduced Raj, saying he possessed just the type of dedication needed to change the Kansas Legislature.

"Raj is passionate, energetic, and has the right experience for the job," Docking said. "We need representatives who will solve problems, not create them."
